I came in for a tooth that had been bothering me and Dr. Haws and his staff were ready to take care of things right then. Always cheerful, ready to listen and professional.
This week my daughter went to her appt by herself for the first time. She said everyone at the office including the hygienist was really nice and that it was easy. We have been seeing Dr. Haws for over 20 years and are very pleased with the care and attention we have received.
Allison was friendly and thorough!
I am not a fan of having to go to the dentist. Since dentistry is necessary for a healthy mouth, teeth and gums, going to the dentist is not optional for me. If it is necessary for you to go to a dentist, you won’t find a better dentist than Max Haws. The dental assistants, hygienists and front office staff are also amazing. It feels like family when I am at the office. I will continue going to visit Dr. Haws for all of my dental needs. P.S. Dr. Haws purchased a 3D Printer which means getting a crown only requires one visit. There is no temporary that you have to live with and return 3 weeks later! You get a perfectly fitted crown and leave the office after one hour of the crown being printed!!!

I’m so glad I took the advise of a coworker when she recommended Dr. Haw’s’ office when my former dentist office dropped my insurance. The office is pleasant & comfortable, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Mike does an excellent job on cleaning, very thorough & gentle. And Dr.Haws is very personable, thorough, informative. I’ve even recommended this office to other friends and to someone inquiring about a good dentist office on Next Door. Thank you.

Dr Max Haws and Dental Team are Professional snd Courteous with both Adults snd Teenagers. He has a Relaxing Demeanor.. He is Handsome... helps the Dentist Anxiety that we get.. The office is super clean.. They have bottled water, cozy waiting room.. Plenty of Dental samples. A great experience! Highly recommended for the Entire Family.. You receive friendly reminders via Text.

Great experience as always, going to Dr. Haws office for routine cleanings and checks. Both my husband and I get our teeth cleaned twice a year with Mike who does a great job.
You will find very friendly staff and up-to-date dental practices. And I greatly appreciate that Dr. Haws is in the Delta Dental Insurance network.
Robert rates on a scale of 1 through 10. The best he usually gives is a 7. On rare occasions he e will give an eighth. He gives Marussy an 8 for his cleaning and bite wing x-rays. He did not need me in his room with Marissa. Best, Sherman

Having come from another office of 30 years, we were a little apprehensive about the change. As new patients (2nd cleaning) we have felt very welcomed by the staff and Dr. Haws. Our concerns and questions have all been professionally handled.

We are new to Santa Barbara and picked out this doctor just based on our insurance plan. It’s always scary when you have to do it this way instead of a referral. I was pleasantly surprised by the front office and how nice they were getting our information and scheduling an appointment by phone. When we went in for the appointment we were very adsorbed with the energy in the office incredible including with Dr Haws. He took his time and was very thorough and kept my son who is 13, engaged in the conversation of dental health. I am very relieved with my choice and feel that this is going to be a long-term family dentist for not only my son but for all of my family. Thank you!!!
If you live in the Santa Barbara area Dr Max is the DDS to go to for sure. A very organized office that consistently gets me into the chair at the appointed time without waiting around. Further, the work is high-quality. One of the few Dentist I've been to that actually has some of the prescription medication at the dental office and also performs their own Dental lab work! Most dentist send the impressions to a lab. Max does the craft work himself making for a better fit and experience. Kind, friendly, understanding & highly adept work is what you will find here. Same recommendations for the thoughtful and friendly staff! A+

Polite, professional, skillful and personaable.
We have a two year old and a five year old. They both cheer when we tell them it’s time for their checkup and cleaning. That is probably all anyone needs to know about the quality of this dental service.
I absolutely love this office! I have been going to him almost 20 yrs. Dr Haws is the best, because he stands up for his work. His staff is very friendly and professional. They always make you feel welcome and at ease. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to Dr Haws.
Mike did the best teeth cleaning I've had in my life. And Dr. Haws does a very thorough exam, more so than other dentists I have had in the past. Front desk, sorry I don't remember her name, is pleasant, informative, and helpful. I'm very happy with this office all around & am definitely recommending them to family, co-workers. & friends.

I have been a patient at Haws’ dentistry office since 1994 or so. I went to Max’s father and then when he retired I switched to Max as my dentist. I always have a great experience and Mike my Hygenist is the best!
Everyone is always cheerful and pleasant. Dr Haws is very flexible- I’ve been very late and very early and he always sees me anyway.
Everything was done efficiently and in a timely manor. Very proficient dentistry.
Dr Haws and his team were very professional and kind. He explained in detail the steps of the root canal and was very honest about what to expect during and after each visit. It’s been 1 day after the completion of all the steps and my crown feels so natural that I can’t even tell I just had the procedure; it’s not even sore. Great experience, I’ll definitely be back when I need to and will recommended to my friends!
